About Lennox Feel the Love™
Lennox’s Feel the Love™ is a remarkable program that provides Lennox dealers like Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning an opportunity to give back to deserving individuals and families in our communities.
People like you recognize deserving candidates in their hometowns by nominating them to receive new heating or cooling systems. Lennox donates the equipment and dealers like us donate our time/labor to professionally install the new HVAC systems.
Feel the Love 2024 Recipient
Amanda is 38 years old and has spent much of her adult life as the sole caregiver to her parents while working a full-time job at a printing company in Oconomowoc. Her parents’ home burned down in 2011 and they suffered not only smoke inhalation, but were affected by toxic fumes that added to their already long list of ailments.
Amanda’s parents are both disabled since 2009. Both parents suffer from Stage 4 COPD and are diabetic. The list of ailments her mother suffers from is extensive including being wheelchair bound from breaking her back. She also suffers from extensive gastro-intestinal problems that require frequent hospitalization. Add to that she suffered a massive stroke in 2018. Due to her parents many medical problems, it became too hard for them to remain in their home and they moved into Amanda’s home for two years having just moved out last October.
The cycle of Amanda’s life has been work, stop at home to see to her cats, off to care for parents at home or visit at the hospital and then off to care for the other parent, home to bed and start the cycle all over again the next day. Amanda’s unrivaled care for her parents is truly inspiring. She is an absolute hero in our eyes and a deserving recipient of the Feel the Love™ program.
Through Feel the Love™, Amanda’s aging heating and cooling system was replaced with a new furnace and A/C donated by Lennox, a whole-home humidifier courtesy of Aprilaire, and installed by our caring volunteers at Kettle Moraine Heating & A/C.
